Dario Giustarini

Founder

Dario started his studies in Sonology at the Royal Conservatoire of the Hague in 2010. In 2012 he began working at Studio LOOS doing the production for concert series “Ephémère”. During his final year at the Conservatoire he took part in the Sonology Electroacoustic Ensemble as the sound engineer. Shortly after came his first encounter with Ensemble Modelo62 as he accompanied them to Groningen and Apeldoorn as a technical assistant. In the spring of 2014 Dario became involved with the IOM-AIM research of Peter van Bergen and Johan van Kreij as a technical production manager. After presenting his final exam at the Royal Conservatoire in June 2014, Dario became more active within Studio LOOS and became studio manager. Alongside this function he also initiated his professional activities as a sound engineer, often combining the facilities LOOS could offer with his technical knowhow, providing both to various venues and organizations. Towards the end of 2014 he was re-engaged by Ensemble Modelo62 now filling a new role as their production manager. Dario also coaches 10-12 year olds in making Lego Robots at the “Duinoordschool” primary school in the Hague. Beyond these professional activities Dario is still investing in his own octophonic sound studio to continue the development of his own music.
